CURRENTLY:
5th Graders are preparing their drawings and stories, written in Spanish, to present on their podcast.  Stories and drawings should be finished by Thursday, January 10 and preparation for presentation will follow. Students will need to practice aloud their story in order to complete their podcasts.

4th Grade is beginning episodio 9. 
Vocabulario es:  
1. luce, to shine, to look good (lucir) v.
2. el juez/los jueces, judge (s)
3. la competencia de belleza, beauty pageant
4. recita, she/he recites
5. gana, she/he wins v. (ganar)
6. el premio, prize, el primio grande. grand prize

My Christmas Wish

My Christmas wish this year is that we forget the materialism of Christmas and remember why we have Christmas at all.  It seems that we easily forget.
